{"id":6082,"date":"2016-07-11T18:09:38","date_gmt":"2016-07-11T16:09:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stg-drivesimsimulatorcom-y090425.kinsta.cloud\/?p=6082"},"modified":"2025-07-08T16:54:07","modified_gmt":"2025-07-08T14:54:07","slug":"el-instituto-politecnico-de-coimbra-invierte-37-millones-de-euros-en-simuladores-y-otras-tecnologias","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/drivesimsimulator.com\/en\/el-instituto-politecnico-de-coimbra-invierte-37-millones-de-euros-en-simuladores-y-otras-tecnologias\/","title":{"rendered":"Coimbra Polytechnic Institute invests 3.7 million Euros in simulators and other technologies"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"blog-top\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"blog-bottom\">\n<div class=\"blog-content\">\n<div class=\"post-inner\">\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipc.pt\/\">Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra (IPC)<\/a> has inaugurated six new laboratories that have involved an investment of some 3.7 million euros in infrastructure and technological equipment.<\/p>\n<p>This investment has been financed by the <em>\"<strong>Mais Centro Operational Program\".<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>and allows for the expansion of the applied research capacity of the <strong>IPC<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\"Until this moment, we did not have conditions in our laboratories to take advantage of our human potential in the service of the Central region. The goal is to use the laboratories in the service of the community.\"\u00a0<\/em>These are the words of <strong>Rui Antunes<\/strong>IPC's president.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><em>\"The inauguration of the six laboratories does not mean that we have reached the goal, it is a starting point. This investment has served to face the challenges of the community framework until 2020 and to integrate us into the region's choices and strategies. The ultimate goal is to work for the companies and support regional and national development.\"<\/em> remarked <strong>Carlos Dias Pereira<\/strong>director of the <strong>Institute for Applied Research (iZA)<\/strong>This is an organic unit for research and community services, created precisely to give greater scale and weight to the technical-scientific activities of research professors.<\/p>\n<p>The Portuguese company <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ingeniarius.pt\/\">Ingeniarius<\/a>together with Spanish companies <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stg-drivesimsimulatorcom-y090425.kinsta.cloud\/\">Drivesim<\/a> y <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arisoft.es\/\">Arisoft<\/a> have equipped the laboratory with specialized research driving simulators called <strong>ROBOCORP<\/strong>one of the six laboratories created under the umbrella of this project.<\/p>\n<p>One of the driving simulators incorporated in the laboratory is the model of the\u00a0<strong>Drivesim, DRIVE SEAT 800 ST\u00a0<\/strong>which has three screens to display the simulation plus a fourth screen to represent the vehicle's dashboard and instrument panel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El Instituto Polit\u00e9cnico de Coimbra (IPC) ha inaugurado seis nuevos laboratorios que han supuesto una inversi\u00f3n de unos 3,7 millones de euros en infraestructuras y equipamiento tecnol\u00f3gico.
