Madrid Science Week in which DRIVESIM and WAVEDRIVING® simulators were used.

From November 2 through November 15, the Madrid Science Week in which the following simulators were used DRIVESIM y WAVEDRIVING® .

At DriveSim we can configure a multitude of options to adapt the driving to the type of experience we want:

  • Different time settings: night / day driving.
  • Different weather conditions: we can drive in rain or fog.
  • Configurations: driving with and without ABS, on slippery surfaces...
  • Four levels: the simulator has four modules ranging from initial training on a closed circuit to learn how to drive the vehicle, to advanced training where you drive on highways, mountain roads, roads, etc.
  • Choose the type of driving: we can define whether we want to avoid other road users, prefer dense traffic, aggressive driving by other drivers, etc.
  • Vehicles: we can choose from a variety of diesel or gasoline vehicles, with front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive or 4×4, with manual or automatic transmission and vehicles with different power ratings.

There were many participants, among them were D. Manuel Giménez Rasero (Minister of Economy, Employment and Competitiveness of the Community of Madrid) and Mr. Oscar Melchor (creator of the Learning Method). Wavedriving), which is a new driving philosophy that, applied through a new training methodology, will improve current driving by learning the existence of new variables that the driver must take into account in order to change his or her destiny towards safe, efficient and healthy driving".
